Chérie

From 2012 - 2019 I was part of a Toronto Korean pop Dance Cover Group called “Chérie”, where I was able to collaborate with a group of girls from different backgrounds.

During my time in the group, I gained experience in video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro to cut, sync and edit our videos. Create our youtube thumbnails using Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop. As well as taking part in filming our content with the use of a gimbal or tri-pod.

For some videos, I was able to participate in creative direction, where I would help with the planning of outfits, location, various camera angles
+ shots, hair, make-up and overall video conceptualization.

As a dance team we were presented with the following opportunities:
• Opening act in Toronto for K-Pop stars such as Hyuna and Heize (2017)
• Performed at Toronto Kpop Con.
• Contract performances for various clientele within Toronto. (Century 21, Mandarin, Korean Harvest Festival, UoT, Mon Sheong Foundation, George Brown, Scarborough Summerfest 2014)
• Won 1st place at Super Wave. (2014)
