Through the Lens
Content Creation | Role: Photographer | Camera Used: Kodak Cameo AF Panoramic
This project is a visual exploration captured exclusively on 35mm film. It embraces the imperfections, textures, and tones unique to analog photography, celebrating its nostalgic yet timeless quality. The goal is to document authentic moments, environments, and emotions that digital formats often polish away, allowing the rawness of film to tell the story.
Concept
The project focuses on the beauty of everyday life
and fleeting experiences. Each frame is intentional yet spontaneous, highlighting how film encourages
patience, mindfulness, and presence. The limited
exposures of a roll create a rhythm of slowing down, observing deeply, and choosing meaning over excess.
Aesthetic & Style
Grain, light leaks and natural textures left untouched.
High contrast between light and shadow,
emphasizing atmosphere
Colours that lean into warmth and nostalgia.
Candid, cinematic framing, intimate and imperfect.
Purpose
The project seeks to preserve moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed, framing them as part of a larger narrative about memory, time and human connection. It is both personal and universal: a diary of small truths that resonate beyond the photographer’s perspective.
